I'm 18 weeks today and getting impatient waiting to feel baby movements. Nothing so far...

For those of you who've been there, at what point did you first feel the fluttered?

Also, as I'm just starting to show, where is the best place for maternity clothes. Nowhere seems to have much of a selection.

Ta folks.

About 14 weeks, more fluttering than kicks though. My two pregnant friends are also having trouble finding maternity clothes- no choice anywhere. I just wore looser clothes, I didn't buy anything extra except some light trousers with elastic in the waist.

I think I've got either a very lazy or very chilled baby, Pixie.
It's a boy, then :-). I just asked my daughter as she had her first more recently and she said about 18 weeks.
I thought you said your baby was dancing and waving at the first scan?

My first...about 20 weeks. The others much sooner as I knew what it felt like
can't remember that far back lol (about the flutters and subsequent rugby tackles)

Bought a lot of elasticated trousers from George tho.

I shall find out in 2 weeks, Pixie. My husband wants the name Hunter for a boy - over my bloody dead body!
Ah :-)

I quite like Miles for a boy and Erica for a girl, but then I keep changing my mind from one day to the next.
Ummm my friends that have had babies all said around the 20 week mark.
(I think your answer must have been missed)
nex have some nice mat clothes, and so do (did?) Mammas and Papas. Also second hand is good - local selling sites. What is your normal dress size?
Felt fluttering at 17 weeks with the first pregnancy. Have no clue about the second.
Question Author
I'm a 12 normally, bednobs. I never thought about Mamas & Papas.

I've had nothing so far, Rocky. I'm sure the baby's moving but I just can't feel anything.
It'll probably be a couple of weeks til you feel anything, NoM. My friend's daughter is about the same stage as you and she was worried that she hadn't felt anything yet. She was told it's normal. Some women feel something at this stage, some don't.

As for clothes, I wore leggings and big t shirts. If you need something smarter Next have a few nice things.
I think a maxi dress looks nice on a pregnant woman. No need for a maternity sized one.

I thought I felt a tiny flutter this Morning, Clover, but I couldn't swear to it.

I do have a couple of maxi dresses but I fear I'm mostly going down the route of long maxi skirts and baggy tops.
Never had kids NoM, so can't help. Lovely photo of Phoebe x
Aww look at Phoebe.
Phoebe, where ?
Lol the dog in the avatar.
