Wednesday. Well, the rain has stopped for a while. Still some cloud about though. The wind still making it's presence known. At least the rain gave the car a wash, so it's not all bad! :o}

Tiggy is still out and about in the garden, I heard him rootling about a wee while ago. Lots of slugs and snails for him to sort out.

I can do some out and about I didn't do yesterday because of the rain.

Have a happy day everyone.

How are you this morning?
Dad has a strong heart, won't stop beating.
He can hear but can't respond, body has physically stopped working.

Mum is coping in a way, had accepted the situation but now things are dragging on is suffering.
I'll be on my way soon, time to feed us both then back to the hospice.

Thanks to yourself and all the others that have shown support.

Bye for now.

Morning, everyone. A quick hi before I try to grab a couple more hours sleep. Still windy here, but not as bad as yesterday. My car was blasted with sand and salt from the sea spray. One of the probs of living by the beach.

Best wishes, 1ozzy and to your family. It's tough, I know.

zebo, Longfield hospice di a wonderful job of looking after my Vera, and,, indeed, me. They do not have a residential unit, but they do Hospice at Home, a dedicated nurse, matched to the family, will visit everyday, even stay overnight if required, so the patient can end their life at home with their loved ones. It works very well. I am now an ambassador and volunteer for the hospice. They are remarkable people doing a wonderful job. The hospice itself is set in beautiful grounds with wonderful views across the Golden Valley. It's such a happy and peaceful place. I love being there.
Good morning everybody.
