My husband forgot our 38 th. Wedding anniversary. I normally drop hints, but I didn't this year and low and behold......I should have known better I suppose, I asked for it.

No - give him a big kiss instead.
No....keep him alive and torture him!
Yes as Mamy says, that'll give him a real guilt trip sorry you didn't get the perfume you wanted x
That wasn't my reasoning,was thinking I wish we'd got to 38 years.

Still 35 was more than some manage.
Murder seems a tad extreme. It must be worth a city break or other short holiday.
Perhaps you'll get one ginormous present on Christmas day instead.

My OH wouldn't remember. He only remembers my birthday because it's an easy date to remember.

Oh well, never mind. He's cooking me dinner, and I am mellowing with the Sauvignon blanc
In our 38 yrs married, my other half has never and would never remember our Anniversarys! Sniff Sniff. He will never change, and hey, is it really that important?
Get a fake tattoo of your anniversary date. Show him your new tattoo and suggests he gets one (permanent), too.

Lovely Alwaysconfused ! I think he would literally faint!
Question Author
No Pusskins, it isn't really important, it's the day to day that counts
Glad you think so really - we're the same. rarely remember our own anniversary but love each other to bits.
Question Author
Yep Mosaic, but I am milking this a bit and enjoying his discomfort and guilt , hahahahahahahaha
my OH has never yet remembered an anniversary, so after three decades I pretty much gave up on it myself.

I think if we make it to 3 decades or 4, we really have something to celebrate. I bet in the not too distant future there won' t be many relationships that last that long. I bet we all have had our ups and downs, but not given up on our relationships and after all these years reap the benefit of being with someone that we are comfortable with, enjoy and love.
that's a nice post sam ^^^^^ but he still forgot :)
Congrats on your anniversary .... Today is my 50th and so far nothing's been said....not one for big events, my chap, but we've made it this far !
