A warm fleece?
Hi LadyJ...I have had a great day in the charity shop....some great Christmas presents including a new and unusual wooden puzzle for £2.......checked on Amazon...selling for between £20 and £40.....

So how about an unusual grown up puzzle that everyone can have fun with?..x
a donation to a charity .
Like gness said, a puzzle or a game. I got trivial pursuit last Christmas and we've not stopped playing it. Great game.

hi sibs - he has got coats, etc. I bought him a waxed overcoat and lining a couple of years back.

hi gness - he doesn't do puzzles. I do but he doesn't.

hi anne - it has got to be a parcel he can open. we already give to the rbl.

doesn't have to be expensive but I really am stuck.
One year I bought my brother one of those bottles of wine in a wooden puzzle....couldn't get the wine out without undoing the puzzle.

The men spent ages trying with no luck and it was passed around the table.... we still laugh at the faces of the men when brother's eighty odd year old ma in law did it in seconds......☺

Does he like reading? Perhaps a book token or an annual subscription to a favourite magazine?
Why not get something that you want but what he will also benefit from?
Aftershave, electric razor, cologne, nice pen, tankard?
Good idea, Dizmo, a voucher for a meal in your favourite restaurant.

thanks always and marvel. I've had a quick and saw a couple of things that might be suitable.

he has got me a trug - which is what I suggested I also suggested a new nib for my pen but that seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I know that as he would need to get it fitted to the pen.
Psybbo: It was a double entendre ;)
Don't waste your money on "Name A Star"

All you will be doing is putting money into that companys bank account.

Nobody can name a start other than the IAU. http://www.iau.org

And they dont "sell" stars.
