Made To Measure Shoes.

I know this should probably be in shopping, but has anyone had shoes made to measure and if so was it worth the money, and is there anywhere you would recommend. Thanks.

I have a pair of hand made shoes but due to circumstances they virtually gave them to me for nothing (white doc martens, using my favourite pair as a template and made with Italian leather).

They are not strictly made-to-measure but I bought a pair of Hotter shoes last year and they are the best I have ever had, and they are made in Britain.

i haven't, but know a few guys who had hand made shoes, and hand made suits, they had a few quid stashed away...

I've got a couple of pairs of hand made, made to order boots, not quite made to measure but close. I think they're great, expensive, but hopefully will last me a very long time. Doc's and Caterpillar only seem to last me about a year or so.
