How does Laurel manage to stay on in the vicarage [on a factory wage] , with
Ashley still not earning? And if he's no longer a vicar I thought she would have to vacate the premises.

Why does Declan own the vicarage and not the church. Isn't that unusual?

Mr.cupid has reminded me that it's not the original vicarage as the original one burnt down and they had to find an alternate home. Sorry folks, I'd forgotten that!
How does Laurel get to occupy the moral high-ground and the older child, Gabby, isn't hers anyway.
Question Author
No, Bernice her real mum is due to make an appearance quite soon, I believe!

Gabby has got to be the most miserable kid ever to appear in a soap.
In tonight's episode, did anyone hear how much Victoria is giving Betty for her house? Thanks.
£60.000 I must be sad to remember that, cheap when you think she gets 2 old f**** thrown in.
Thanks baza. Flippin' phone range just as she said it. Blimey, she might live to regret it and so might Betty. I'd have 'em into an OAP home asap:-)
