Has anyone noticed how different the filming is now on Corrie. Tonight Peter was in most scenes, but all after each other, in different places, with nothing in between to give that impression of time passing, if you know what I mean. Looks really weird for Corrie.

Don't like peter Barlow, he is too self-pitying and gets on my nerves.
Yes I know what you mean netty...there's other things I'm disliking about the productions lately too. Every set is dark....why on earth do they think that it needs to be dark in every scene, not enough leccy even in the shop or the factory, it's ridiculous in my opinion. There's atmosphere and "atmoshpere" I just wish they would let us view it by being able to SEE the picture.

It was because he features in a storyline about him and I assume the events shown were to highlight just how that storyline came about. If they'd have done it in dribs and drabs the impact behind it would have been lost. You did notice it was bad news all the way.....
excuse me, netty, hope things are mending for you, postdog!

I know what you mean postdog, but that's happened in the past with other storylines and it hasn't been filmed like that. I just think it's a new idea of production they're going with, probably to keep up with other stuff on TV, but I don't think it works personally.
yes, i know what u mean netty - it flicked from one scene with peter to the next and the next, no natural continuity in it, which felt alien for corrie! i don't know if i liked it...?!?
I used to watch Corrie religiously, had it Sky+'ed. Not watched it since I came back from holiday last year and just couldn't be bothered catching up, it had slipped that badly. It should go back to 2 episodes a week and concentrate on quality rather than quantity.
i thought it was pretty nifty, this is the way movies are filmed, bring more of it on
if you cant follow that you wont follow any film you might watch ?
I noticed that last night, but didn't think they'd done it before. No to keen on it actually, but I still love Corrie.
it was a pastiche of him being tormented by alcohol!

bit cringy i thought x
This Peter and Carla thing is going to take off soon don't you think?.

jem
Definitely. Peter is leaving at the end of the year anyway I think.
is he leaving?.............oh goodee.....I suppose he could take some time out to take acting lessons.
Whats going to happen to his little boy Simon {Leanne is very attached to him] I think he is cute, unlike his father, who I wont miss!
Are you sure the actor who plays Peter Barlow is leaving notasyoungasiwas?
I met him once when they were filming near where I was living at the time and he is really nice, I was quite smitten.
notasyoungasiwas.......
hardly definite then >lol
You mean he is not really a self-pitying alcoholic adulterer in real life?
I'm pretty certain that I read some months ago that he is leaving as I remember commenting on it with Mum who is another fan. The affair he is going to have with Carla is probably the start of it I should imagine. I like him (think he's sexy lol), so I'll miss him.
I hated this episode. I tune in to watch Coronation Street..not the Peter Barlow show! Also how many times have we seen the whole will they/won't they thing with Carla (too many) and the Peter falls off the wagon shenanigans. BORING
