That explains a lot. I thought it has improved in the last few weeks, so hopefully we aren't going to have to suffer Eastenders type stories.

No-one gave Rob the right to say '2 to 1', but Tom is wrong-footed and unwilling to upset Helen in her new-found 'happiness'. I think she has just felt the first chilly frisson of doubt - the bruise didn't pass me by, or her tone of voice. She has invested so much into getting him accepted - even loved - by her family that she can't believe her own senses. Rob is really pushing it. He'll have to ease off or else it will become obvious to all. Will he? I go with Mikey - Christmas should be interesting.

And now what about Kenton and David (via jolene)
That's got really interesting
mrchirpy...Alas, Colonel Danby died many years ago. An interesting fact is that he was played by Ballard Berkeley, who became much more famous as the Major on Fawlty Towers ! ( vermin Fawlty, vermin ! )

I would love nothing better than to write for The Archers ! I would have much more Eddie, Linda, and Susan, and much less ruddy Pip, who gives me the pip, that's for sure !

And where is that flipping Vicar ?
In next week's Radio Times it says that Henry is bed-wetting. Very worrying.
He's not very old helly-welly. Many, many children bed-wet until 8 or even older, it's not necessarily stress. My oldest was dry from 2 years old, my youngest was much older. Nothing different in family circumstances, children react differently. Grandson (6) bed-wets, granddaughter (4) doesn't.
I don't want to hear that Jourdain thank you very much:-)

I want to hear that it is Rob causing Henry to wet the bed either because he's whacked him one or because he's lost his temper and shouted at him. Nothing darker than that though, I hope.

Mikey444, when you stage a take-over, please don't beef-up Susan's role, she's a pain in the glutimus maxima, excuse the dodgy Latin, but you know where I mean! Poor Neil, all those years with Wisteria Susan.
Perhaps Henry heard the shenanigans going on downstairs the other day.
I think he is worrying about Scruff! (Ok I will get my coat!! But I still think scruff will return?.....)
Is Helen having doubts about Rob?

All that walking by the lagoon - was it just because Henry was at school, or is she more troubled?

At one time Rob had to ask her to sit next to him.
I reckon that the first chill of doubt came a few days ago. If he's lovely for a while, she'll get over it until next time.
The 'Rob Titchiner' plot-line is really good (but also really scarey!!!) I was ready for jacking in listening to the show at the beginning of the year but it does seem to have improved considerably. Is it possible the scriptwriters actually listen to our comments?.
The editor/director or whatever has changed. They had imported the chap who used to be i/c Eastenders, T.G. he has departed!
That explains a lot. I thought it has improved in the last few weeks, so hopefully we aren't going to have to suffer Eastenders type stories.
The new writers should make amends and bring back Matt from Costa Rica (?) I loved him and 'Puss-Cat' together, Matt has a lot of explaining to do!
Is Pip turning into Superwoman or what ? Is there nothing she can't do, and does she irritate other people like she does me !
Question Author
Oh yes - there must be something going on with Pip - maybe a romance with the bad brother or even Eddie G after last night (another bad brother) doubt that one though
Question Author
Oh - yes she is a little annoying - not as much as her mother has become though - but don't say anything about that on the Archer facebook page
I have been involved in a real old ding dong just recently about that.
Ric.ror...I avoid Facebook, as much as possible !

If Rickyard Cottage has been laying empty for so long, why didn't Jill move in there, instead of going all the way over to her daughters ?

I think that Pip will set up home there with one of the Fairbrother boys...probably the naughty one, as some women are just drawn to the bad un's !

And where is that ruddy Vicar !

( and Jazzer, come to that ! )

Where is Bert staying?
