That explains a lot. I thought it has improved in the last few weeks, so hopefully we aren't going to have to suffer Eastenders type stories.

That creepy husband is going to be around for a while longer I'm afraid Ric.ror. There is a lot of mileage left !

Last night he came very close to suggesting a carnal reason for the friendship between Adam and Charlie !

But one day he is going to give Henry an almighty clout, and I don't want to miss it when it happens !

Also, I can't remember the last time I heard Jill cry.....her husbands funeral I expect. I feel very sorry for her but I think she should move in with Carol Tregorran and stop slaving over a hot stove for those lot back at the Farm !

And where the ruddy hell is the Vicar these days ? That Church doesn't run itself you know !
Question Author
Isn't the church still out of action so I guess the vicar is at another of his parishes
I thought there was a kiss between Adam and Charlie before the flood

I'd smack both Helen and her kid - only joking and domestic violence is not a laughing matter
As for Jill well isn't pip moving so she can have her room and help oh no with caring for her mum cause I think she is underestimating the strain that will be

I like Jill
Helen's brother, can't recall his name, the wedding-phobic, will come to blows with Rob, he seems to see right through Rob. The shop meeting should be interesting.
Question Author
Also like the Kenton storyline
He's such a disagreeable man
Question Author
Oh yes
I forgot about the shop storyline
More hazel too please
I agree more Hazel, some one you really love to hate.
I wish Ruth's mother would pop off, Ruth herself is beginning to irritate me putting her mother first above everyone else. David should tell her to bu$$er off oop North if she wants. Tell me I'm being heartless.

'You're being heartless, Prudie' - does that help? Ruth does have a point, she's an only child and 'Pet' is all alone.

Very strong storylines at the moment - Helen is, of course, headed for disaster (unless we are being lead in that direction and Rob is a knight in shining armour after all!).
You're heartless Prudie. OK?

I can't wait for Rob to explode at Henry either or to see Helen's reaction when he does. And I'd join you in smacking them Ric, so annoying. Stupid woman. "you'd be the last person to do that", says she as Rob had snidely been blackmailing Charlie into giving him a good reference. I hope Charlie's going to keep digging and that guy who Rob is blaming for the mistakes comes back from Slovakia or wherever. Yep really good at the moment.

I wonder where the pip/everley brothers story line is going
It would be a bit predictable if it was a Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn film) tale
The difficulty with these strong story lines is that other characters and plots seem to go out the window. Lots of people have appeared for ages, despite being important characters in the village...the Vicar being one.

I know they only have 15 minutes each night but perhaps we should start a campaign to get 20 mins a night !
Well, today we had Susan and Hazel at their poisonous bests and Linda at her most pretentious - what more joy can radio hold?
I won't spoil it for anyone, but I think Pip has made the right decision !

Also, what happened last night on Rob and Helen's sofa ? Is anyone else having my suspicions ?
Just between us Mikey, what is your suspicion - i can't wait to know?
Do you think the penny is dropping with H?
lady.... we mustn't spoil it for the Sunday morning Omnibus crowd ! But Helen didn't seem very happy today.
OK. So. 11.15am Sunday 30 August 2015 meeting here to discuss suspicions as to what went on last night between you know who. All fans are welcome.
Well........I've just caught up, and I think I'm thinking the same as you Mikey. Oh dear, what will happen now. He said she was pestering him for a drink, well we all know it was the other way round. Anyway, no more clues, we will no doubt chew it over after Sunday morning. Bit of an unpleasant thing to introduce, though.
I will be so glad when this blessed Italian opera is finished. Jim and Linda drove me mad the other evening.
Comments also about Pip welcome too.
Oh the opera has been wonderful for me and probably Mikey who I know is an opera fan. The sound of Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte aria in the background was bliss.
It was Jim and Linda pontificating in Italian which irritated me. Enough is enough!
Cosi fan tutte is one of my favourite operas. Its one to take people to who have never been to the Opera before !
