That explains a lot. I thought it has improved in the last few weeks, so hopefully we aren't going to have to suffer Eastenders type stories.

Rob is a nasty pasty! I am sure of it........ Poor Helen has got it coming (excuse the obvious!) .... Much better script at present I believe (especially if 'Pet Love' comes down from ooop North and falls in love with Bert Fry..... False Teeth a clattering.... Oh nooooo mum!) ;-/
Oooh, UK, never thought of that. Now that WOULD make me feel ill!
I have to admit to being with Ric.ror on the Rob/Helen front (!)
She was up for sex, just maybe not for what he wanted with all his 'you're mine now' talk.
Might be wrong and it was just all about contraception or rather lack of it.
But I don't think that would have made her so tearful the next morning.
Now that Pip's back I suspect that (B)Rickyard Cottage will come into its own. Maybe Bert will move in there and Pip and Jill will take over the bungalow.
Does anyone know how many rooms there are in Brookfield? Phil and Jill had 4 children after all whilst David and Ruth have only 3...If Pip moves out and Bert decamps that should leave enough room for Jill and pet .
How long do we think Pet will survive, if she ever gets to Brookfield?
Rob is really getting his feet under the table isn't he !

First of all he praises the traditional design but within 4 minutes, he has managed to get his own way after all. The clever, sneaky bar steward !
Although I did wonder if Rob did things that a sober Helen wouldn't have agreed to, I doubt if daytime BBC R4 would actually go there.
I am very undecided about what happened between Rob & Helen the other night. I'd be surprised if the scriptwriters would go down the route that Ric.Ror has suggested although it occurred to me too. Helen's distress seems a bit OTT, although she can write chapter and verse on how to be a drama queen.
Are you lot (ever so delicately) suggesting that Rob is from Northampton ... ?

Might have been.....
Well someone should tell him he ain't gonna get a baby that way Dave.
Lol... Sunny Dave.... I can think of so many naughty retorts, but none I can repeat..... All I can say is (Rob T) he will end up in the *** one way or another!
Don't forget someone, forget who, remarked about the bruise on her wrist ...
He certainly got rough.
Helen was complaining a bruise last night ......
They are going to have to move The Archers to after the watershed
LOL Hopkirk.
Is Colonel Danby still in it?
Question Author
Oh yes
Tom noticed the bruise on her wrist last night!
It is perhaps a '50 shades' scenario - not that I have read 50 shades - it takes me all my time to read all the postings on here
How come Rob was allowed to vote on the new designs? He said to Tom you're out-voted 2 to 1. Excuse me but who gave him a vote?
Ladybirder - he did. He's just taken over and they don't seem to be strong enough to resist him.I don't think he intends to get another job, just infiltrate himself into Tony and Pat's farm with a view to taking over eventually. Nasty, nasty, nasty. I just hope something happens to show him in his true light.
I don't think they've noticed yet Helly, except possibly Helen. When she offered to source some builders he said no you're too busy sewing Henry's name tags in his school stuff. In other words get back in the kitchen where, from now on, you will belong. I wonder who'll be the next to notice and what they'll do about it.

And will Kenton accept the money to be offered?? So many good story lines at the moment. Is there anew scriptwriter? It's not Mikey is it?
