Oh dear, oh dear, our Frankie is still offending some.

How much longer before he is outcast to the TV wilderness, just as the likes of Bernard Mannings and Jim Davison were?

I should imagine those most offended would be the ministry of defence.

After all he was putting those words in their mouths, implying that that was the way they saw foreigners.

That's totally different to the way that Manning would use such words in supporting his own views.

Frankie's not a racist at all. It's just real life observations about racial inequality. He just puts a funny twist on it.

Tramadol Nights has got to be one of the funniest programmes on TV at the moment.
I watched his DVD last night and I can honestly say that I laughed at 90% of it.

The outcry about the baby P joke....it wasn't really a baby P joke it was a build up to a Mr T joke.

Found the first half of the harvey joke funny - the second half wasn't.
ummmm, is that his new standup DVD? I'm thinking of buying it.
Gingers are always heavily featured as well....my, very ginger, BF finds it funny.

He turned the spotlight on a ginger and said he was going to watch him die of skin cancer :-)
Yes...it's the stand up. Live from the Apollo. It's hilarious...highly recommend it.
If it's as good as his first one, I'm definitely getting it.

Hopefully not long. I can't stand the tw&t.
If you don't like him then don't watch or listen. He appeals to some and he disgusts others. however, it is totally your choice!!
I don't understand why they can't bring back the Black and White Minstrel show. I realise it appeals to some and disgusts others, but if you don't like you don't have to watch it right? So what's the problem?
There is a warning at the beginning. This DVD WILL offend people. Not 'might' but WILL.

There's the clue for switching off.
I can take or leave Frankie Boyle. But you also mentioned Bernard Manning et al in your post, AOG. I'm not easy to offend but that man managed to do it every time he opened his filthy, racist, bigoted and porcine mouth. So do you know what I did? I put my finger on the little button labelled 'OFF'. It's ever so easy. Perhaps people should try it if someone on TV offends them so much.
Saxy - trouble is most of the people offended haven't even watched it. They are offended because the paper tells them to be.
Good point, Ummm. I have at least seen and heard BM enough times to know that I don't like him.
I can't really remember him...
