Jimmy Carr and John Bishop - equal pegging..
Michael McIntyre
I saw Peter Kaye and thought he was a bit complacent and quite disappointing. I think Rhod Gilbert is excellent but the funniest DVD I've ever seen was BoB Monkhouse.

Yes, Bob Monkhouse.
has to be Billy Connolly by a mile
Bill Hix was class too
hicks lol (not again)

i wish id seen billy connolly when he toured last year but i dithered about buying tickets and left it too late!!

id love to see him
So where are the ladies in this list then?

Joan Rivers is brilliant!
Billy Connelly takes some beating. I can remember an audience with him on TV a few years ago. Thought i was gonna die with laughing when he did the incontinence pants sketch.

yes buenchico crude but very funny :-)
Frankie Boyle.
Used to be Jack Dee but now its Alan Carr. His Tooth Fairy DVD was hilarious.
I went to see Dara O'Briain last month and he was so funny! It's really clever how he manages to make up all these bizarre stories on the spot from things people in the audience have told him, and he still manages to make you laugh from start to finish. I've seen Rich Hall a few times and he's great too. I saw Lee Mack too, but he wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

Jen Kirkman
I've met Jimmy Carr. Nice bloke.
I saw Reginald D Hunter as my local comedy club and he was good. There was also a wacky American called Wilson Dixon who dresses up as a cowboy and sings silly songs. I thought he`d be crap but I really liked him.
