I thought Timothy Dalton had shades of Daniel Craig as a brooding Bond

...but then thats how the character Bond was originally scripted to be - a Hitman persona.

When Ian flemming Wrote James Bond he imagined the character to look like Hoagy Carmichael but with meaner eyes.
He also at first didn't like the look of Sean Connery and thought people wouldnt believe the character!
And apparently 00 numbers were used in the Secret service, a single 0 would mean you had a licence to kill and a 00 number would mean that you have used that licence.

Daniel Craig era killed the fun in Bond and any interest I had. Loved Brosnan and Roger Moore but let's face it - Moonraker was a bloody awful movie

Brosnan was brilliant as Bond. He is the best in my books as I kind of grew up with him as Bond, although I remember Moore back in the 80's - he was such a clown...

yes - i agree timothy dalton was indeed very very good, believe it or not but he played the character exactly how it supposed to be

Craig all the way for me, probably my hormones talking here, but he was the ultimate modern Bond now, grrrrrrr I would tap that....

worst one one surely Quantum of Solace (had hee-haw to do with Ian Fleming) Dalton was ok (and better than Mr Craig) Roger Moore's offerings were more in the comedy mode, in my opinion.

I enoyed all the Bond films, didn't like George Lazenby. For me it was the actor who played Bond that made the difference.

I like the James Bond movies with Roger Moore more than the others.

Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton was my idea of a Bond rather suave and dishy. The beefed up Daniel Craig has made Bond less fun, the Quantum film was good, but I forgot I was watching a Bond movie, more of an everyday action picture

Worst 3 ... Thunderball, Tomorrow Never Dies and even though Roger Moore was the best James Bond ever and ever will be sadly Moonraker I cannot stand, although Jaws being a childhood figure of fear and horror might have something to do with me still being unable to get on with that film.

Live and Let Die is the best film with the best song. best villain, best jokes best everything
