Yesterday I watched a couple of the programmes I recorded on my Sky Plus HD - one I finished but kept afterwards, and the other I part watched and kept. Yet when I returned to my Sky Plus list today, both these programmes had gone. Why and can i get them back?

Altho it is not uncommon for my box to switch off or fail to record ive never experienced this. If they have gone you would not be able to get them back.
if you have had them recorded for a while they disappear after a certain time unless you press the keep button

I didn't know about a keep button - where is that? i thought that if you'd Sky Plussed programmes it automatically meant you wanted to keep them. i hadn't recorded either programme very long ago - within the last fortnight.
if your box fills up the system starts randomly deleting things to make space for the new programs. When you're in the planner there are options across the bottom of the screen that correspond to different options and one of them (think its the blue one) is to 'keep' so it can't be automatically deleted. You can also go into settings and stop the system automatically deleting, but if you forget to make room it will stop recording new programs.
