Just getting into I'm a Celebrity when football takes over! I don't mind football quite enjoy it but surely they can find another channel for football! Why should it take precedence over more popular programmes! end of rant!!

because it is the most popular program
With whom??
Take it your in England. Here in Scotland we are left with no Corrie & Celeb but they put Lewis on instead for two bloody hours then half hour of Harry Hills TV Burp. (Scotland are playing Argentina and we don't even have that on!)
fadeout with you here, why are our english mates getting footie and us heathens not,hee hee, didnt want to watch footie but just asking why!!!
Havnae got a clue Puddicat. Saying that I'm near enough Hampden to hear the crowds cheering but bugging me not knowing what they are cheering for!
My sympathies fadeout when the national team is playing it should be on somewhere and I don't mean pay for view. I take it you haven't got Sky as its on Sky Sports 1 and I'm sorry to tell you it's not good news

fadeout Scotland v Argentina are on Sky Sports 1
thats if you have Sky! Republic Ireland, N.Ireland Wales etc all catered for on Sky!
The Hampden Roar is not roaring, omg the last time i was there and the first time was watching Neil Diamond what a wash out!!!
Don't have Sky just Freeview.

Puddicat, my Mum & Dad went to that Concert, was it not thundering that night as well?
fade omg we came from fife we got lost, the traffic lights failed getting there,it was raining so hard, got to the stadium ,no cover for our service user, and it rained and it rained, then thunder,we left after 45 minutes, lightning thought it was the end of the world!!!
I was winding my mum up by text saying "Was that the drum roll we just heard or was it thunder" and she was texting back "yes it was the drums, sounds good doesnt it". We just sat here peeing ourselves laughing. Next time your going to a concert at Hampden, give us a shout and you can park in mum & dads driveway (5 min walk from Hampden)

is there no i`m celebrity on tonight?

i agree with you mary football should be on another chanel.
Football is once every few weeks and it is an England game after all..

I'm a Celebrity is on every night for 2 weeks (and for 2 hours tomorrow) so I don't think one night off is too much to ask!
It's not the point about how often things are on, it's the fact that football tennis cricket and other sports just take over.
Why can't they show them on ITV2?
if you are a football fan pay for it on sky ? rather than force it on others for houres on end .
I would rather watch Madascar v The Faro Islands in the World Tiddly Winks Championship than watch I'm A Celeb.
Thank goodness something stops that dreadful programme 'I'm a Celebrity........' being shown. Why on earth anyone would want to watch such trite I have no idea. So they are celebrities - whoop de doo.
Amen to that SpudQueen! Although its debatable if I would call them celebrities. Only two I know are George Takei and Brian Paddick. George Takei is a legend, but would hardly call Brian Paddick, or the rest of them nobodies a celebrity.

And the reason it takes priority over that awful show is because the football is MUCH MUCH more popular.

Should have been watching Heroes on the other side anyway :D
And just thought I should add how silly everyone complaining sounds. The fact is that Football is more popular than the stupid can ever be. Sport will always take priority over tat junk.
And its the only thing ITV are doing right in my opinion.

Why couldnt your rubbish program go on ITV 2?
