Why do people ask what is the song in a film when they could just look at the credits at the end?

that would, to a certain degree, imply that the song in question is easy to deduce from its title. if there is quite a long list of credits it might not always be easy to pinpoint which song is playing at a given time- it doesn't state for example, "song playing first at the wedding" is "x". Its probably easier coming on here asking rather than trying to find 20 songs you don't know & gettng the answer that way
plus sometimes those credits whiz by dead fast... or your hubby is agitating to leave the cinema... or the phone rings just as the song appears ... etc etc

Like the message at the end of 'Hot Shots' advises - "If you'd left the cinema when the credits started, you'd be home by now." and as andytreble99 advises, it's not always easy to assume that the last song on the list of credits is the last song in the film, and so on. Add to that the notion that liking for a song may not sink in until a few days after the cinema visit, you get questions on here - and amen to that.
if you are stuck for the name of a song in a film, the 2 best options are to look up the sound track on amazon and play the preview or to look on a fantastic film info site called the internet movie database www.imdb.com or uk.imdb.com (british version)
I went to see "The Bourne Supremacy" yesterday. There were about 30 people in the cinema, but only two of us stayed until the end of the film. The other 28 or so people all left half-way through the film, just after the beginning of the credits. Maybe there is a connection somewhere.
Its because the world is full of morons like the above 6 examples.
