Does anyone know what the theme music to this series is please?
I have no idea why, but every time I hear it I get an inkling it's from some Western film.
I have tried googling etc, but nothing seems to fit.

All i can discover is that it was composed by Murray Gold. His other credits re theme tunes include Dr Who from 2010, Last Tango in Halifax, Shameless and Gentleman Jack.

So not from a western film. Must admit, every time i heard it, Nick Cave sprang to mind.

I found that Murray Gold supposedly wrote the theme music to Hang em High, and although that music has similarities, I can't convince myself thy are one and the same.
