Hi all. Does anybody know where, or if, I could obtain a copy of a This is your life episode broadcast in 1985 ? I have the transmission date and programme number. I recently discovered that my grandfather was a guest on it. I would really love to get a copy in any format.

have you tried contacting the BBC? i'm sure i read somewhere that you can get copies of programmes that they keep in their archives

Wow, that was fast!! Thanks. I think it was a Thames Tv production. I have'nt tried contacting them yet.

the beeb have archive footage and will sell it to you, but i don't know if it was itv or not. go to their hompages

The BBC seem to have broadcast it from 1991.


I know it started on BBC radio before going to ITV.


Even if the BBC transmitted it in 1985, it doesn't look like they have any editions, look here
