I think if you ask my 3 year old daughter (and frankly thats who we should be asking) i think the answer will be yes.
For some reason she seems to enjoy it.
Besides - the original was rubbish anyway.
No look what they've done to Bill and Ben!! Originals are always best left.

If some of the original production team are involved with a re-make, they are usually quite good, as are the re-makes of Roobarb ( Roobarb and Custard Too ), the new Willow the Wisp and even the new episode of Mr Benn.


Others that try a new angle for a new audience, loose the original audience, though they are no longer the target age. The above named Bill and Ben, Andy Pandy and even The Wombles from the 1990's wasn't that good.


I don't see why new versions shouldn't be made for new viewers.

sorry, that should have been Willo the Wisp.
Or even Will o' the Wisp if we are being really pedantic.
