Morning all - sorry to hear about the emergency, minty....

One here too what with going for a coffee, forgot to take my phone out of the car at the bakery, went back for it and a mass of lines was all I could see on the screen, no cracks etc in it - I can't recall dropping it. Anyway to the phone doc, and it turns out to be a 'flex-cable' whatever that inside and that plus the screen and part of the casing come as one and bang £65 will go, maybe saturday when I get it back. However, they had a weenie Nokia in there for £15, phone and text, so I got that to keep me in communicando and I don't think it's a bad idea to have a back up phone......

The Mater was fine and she ate most of her lunch and none on me....then saw the sis for a salmon, shrimp and cuc sarnie......and a glass of white wine. A long chat with a friend last night on the new phone......today, hopefully calm ahead of working tomorrow evening.

With the temporary, he can hold onto the main one until Monday - works for me with cashflow, my Brit pension due in then but it could be tomorrow....

Coffee awaits and so too the paper en route along with one of those tubs of scully soups for lunch - they're very good - a little doctoring with some chives and pepper first! Have a good one all....
