New series starting this afternoon, BBC1, for those who like that sort of thing. So easy to miss in the listings

I'll be watching - shot near me
I saw that on the Sky new series bit and promptly set it to record - am partial to a bit of FB
It's a light hearted old fashioned comedy and I find it entertaining in such a short programme, but don't like too much of it.
Seems it's only being shown on Fridays, not every weekday as before:

I like it for some strange reason, I am not normally a fan of such gentle fare. But it is well cast... And I wouldn't mind if Flambeau came after my jewellery...
Still in Miss Piggy mode I think...
Oooo Flambeau is delicious
Have him with cream and a prize winning strawberry scone any time
Bit worried that so few of the original cast are in this new series - no Mrs M, No Sid and we'll all miss Bunty's good points too :-(
Just the cream please
Snigger!
Well I won't miss Bunty's good points. The person behind the camera was as obsessed with them as Dave was. ;-)
We could all look like Bunty with a cross your heart by playtex and a good corset
It was definitely an old fashioned sheep dog bra,
I don't think they come in Dave's size, Helen.

46 Ee, good drag supplier could sort him out no trouble, and the best thing is it would give. you a convenient ledge to shelter under if it rains.
Or to balance her pint on
Watching now

Already I'm missing the original inept inspector .

It depends who you mean by “the original inept inspector”, baz.

Tom Chambers (who appears in the latest episode) played Inspector Sullivan throughout series 2 and 3. He popped up again in one episode of series seven and once again in one episode of series eight (by which time he had been promoted to Chief Inspector). Now he’s back again (without any further promotion).

In series one Hugo Speer played the leading cop – Inspector Valentine. Jack Deam (playing Inspector Mallory - who was probably the most inept of the lot) did not appear until series four.
