personally i would have given it an early evening slot, its well acted with good storylines.
Yes we have really enjoyed this series too
Question Author
i have as well, i guess we won't see a second series just yet.
No second series planned as yet but it was left an a cliffhanger so it's a possibility. Wasn't expecting that ending
Question Author
me neither, i guess they will make another one at some point, as you say with that cliff hanger.
I really enjoyed it too. Easy watching. Made a change from all the dark unfathomable plots full of sex and swearing that seem the norm these days!
I enjoy most of the BBC afternoon drama series, WPC56 was superb. I feel that they BBC doesn't promote them enogh.
Watched a few of these, but must have missed why it's called Hope Street - is that the road where the police station is? 'Port Devine' might have been a better title.
Was the last episode the one in which the 2 cars collided or was there another after that?
That was the last one Ellie - will there be a tragic end???? Shakespeare and Hathaway starts on Monday(new series)
Thanks Margo, I was away during the week and thought I'd missed one
