I'm not into football, and never have been, but I do love to watch the manages of these teams be interviewed after they have just lost a match, or their hopes before the game. They must be the most gloomy people on the planet, that's even if you can understand what their droning on about. quote, they know what they have to do today, what can I say, we didn't get the ball were it needed to be, today went against us, we suffered when we shouldn't have done, we didn't have our complete first team, two of our top scorers have gone down with a bug, we just couldn't find the net today, sometimes this happens, I didn't say much at half time, it wouldn't have helped, I'm sure we will pull together, and get things back on track, I'm reluctant to change anything at the moment, because I know they can do it. un- quote. I'm just rolling round the floor helpless :0) :0)

A lot of things ‘amuse me’ not necessarily on TV tho

Hi Bobbs :0)
We`ve just binge watched the first season of The Rookie and, in amongst some good stories and action, there is some very funny segments - the Orville is also very good.
First Dates.
Question Author
@11.58 yep that's good fun to watch. :0)
I thought the Orville was brilliant. Funniest football thing I have ever seen is when I think it was ITV wasn't allowed to televise the matches so they had two blokes sat there with headphones on listening to a commentary and yelling and shouting. Do they still do it?

used to be amusing, now all we hear are tragic stories ...

When you think about it, there is absolutely nothing new or even faintly original that can be said about a football match, by the winning or the losing manager.

Add to that the fact that a lot of PL managers are foreign, and all are hired for skills other than their oratory, and it makes sense to simply not ask them to comment, since they have nothing original or even interesting to say.
'We was robbed but the boys dun good at the end of the day"
What language is that? :-)
The most I've laughed this year was watching an old Dad's Army episode. Mind you, it was the classic "Don't tell him, Pike".
With football managers, the only thing more stupid than their comments is the questions put to them.
Doc Martin, Cold Feet, First Dates and not much else.
M.A.S.H.
If we are talking old stuff, I found quite a lot of things amusing.

Dads Army
One foot in the grave
Keep in up appearances

I still like watching them!
And Dave Allen!

I am afraid I am at a loss to find any new stuff that is remotely belly laughing funny.
Shouting into a mic and swearing makes it no more amusing.
Rising Damp.
Retrocop. I agree. And I find the amount of swearing, shouting current female Comediens worse than the men.
Doc Martin is the only program i can think of showing at the moment.
Yes, I agree, I find Doc Martin very amusing and funny. It always makes me laugh without fail.
