Salmon with hollondaise sauce, new potatoes and peas tomorrow.
Oven baked mushroom and leek risotto on Saturday, haven’t made one for ages but it’s nice and easy to shove in the oven and forget about, then sit in front of the telly with a bowl of it while we watch strictly.
I feel a venison and pickled walnut casserole coming on too...
Tomorrow is quiche and salad and boiled potatoes for him and smoked salmon and cream cheese whirl for me.
Saturday is Indian butter chicken and pakora for both of us.
Was going to have black pepper chicken, stir fried veg with oyster sauce and quick cook brown rice but can't be bothered tonight so having it tomorrow. Working Saturday so whatever I can get my hands on. I love salmon.
I always try to do some sort of fish on a Friday simply because neither of us particularly like fish so it makes us eat it. We only eat salmon or tuna steaks though.
I made a vow to eat oily fish once a week for the omega fats, red meat once a week for the iron and a glass of milk every day for the calcium. Hardly ever happens though.
I have no idea what I'll be eating over the weekend. Maybe spicey wings and belly pork. My brain is mush right now. I'm having salmon tonight, when I really want to break my no wheat/no carbs rule and have seeded toast and pumpkinseed butter. I adore salmon and trout and have either or both several times per week.
