This program is such a gem...just keeps getting better.

A wee bit too much information when you have to see inside a lady's knickers - that was too yucky for me.

Maybe a bit of a shocking scene like that is needed...then how else do we understand the characters shock...fear...distress.

Put simply without too much spoiling of the plot - what a pregnant lady would not like to see when she visits the toilet.

I agree with all that's been said.It has to be remembered though that Jennifer Worth's memoirs have been exhausted and this is all now "made up"

Once on holiday I had run out of books and Ann said try these, the original Jennifer Worth's books, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I think the program tries to reflect the books.

I really enjoy the programme. I keep forgetting when it's on though so tend to watch it on iplayer.
