"as human rights groups demand to see evidence that justifies their deaths."

Would we have won WWII or probably any other war if these clowns had been around ?....

Can you just imagine the families of the U-boat crews wanting to know how the British knew where the wolf packs were operating and we replied "Certainly, we have broken the Enigma machine."

It's a win win situation, as usual, for the extremely wealthy human rights lawyers.
Win, lose or draw they collect their fat fees from the Government. If only Cherie Blair had done something more useful with her life, like nothing.

We were involved in the second world war. I'm unaware we have declared war on ISIS. Asking a government to justify an undiscussed military strike is a reasonable request. One must be wary of a government who does not have to answer to the people.

well funny you should say that

as Goebbels knew he wouldnt survive very long if the Allies won
and Goering's charge of unrestricted civiliam bombing was dropped when he turned around and argued that the Americans had done it in Japan ( and how ! )

so yes Baz history reveals that there WERE war crimes in WWII but funnily enough not on the Allied side ( we know this coz they didnt shoot anyone for that )

A former Attorney General and two former DPPS have expressed concerns about the policy used, are they also clowns?

because the if the famblies of the sunk merchant men asked how the Germans knew where all the convoys were so they could sink them - the answer would have been "The Abwehr broke the british convoy code" but the idea was resisted by the Nay-vee with the usual military ( naval ) stubborness and piggery

confirmed by Enigma far too late of course because the Germans broke rule 1. ( never talk about a compromised code )

well if they arent - the current DPP makes up for it !!

( sozza current DPP Allison saunders who i regard as an especial incorrigible congenital overpaid money-wasting idiot )
OG, you're the second person I've seen, on here, today to say we're not at war with IS. I'm pretty sure we are. Obviously we didn't summon their ambassador and make an official declaration but at war we are. And they are at war with us.
Before everyone turns this into one gigantic back-slapping Praise-God-And-Pass-The-Ammunition, coupled with ‘I’m more British than you and death to all the foreigners …’ glee-fest, let’s just pause to think –

We are categorically not at war with Syria – we may be engaged in combat with IS, but that is not the same thing by any means.

And while we are considering – there is a possibility here – as yet unproven, but under discussion, that a British Prime Minister, having asked the House Of Commons for leave to bomb IS and been refused – has gone behind the back of Parliament and sanctioned selective bombing on targets in Syria, contrary not only to the express wishes of the elected representatives, of this country, but also contrary to law.

So why don’t we all calm down and stop slapping each other on the back with joy that people have died, and think about that.

I do not for one moment condone any of the ideology or tactics of IS, but if we abandon the rule of law so that one person can decide to assassinate people at will, then we are getting down and dirty with the IS way of doing things, and I for one think that is not a path we want to go down.

Perhaps Dave should formally accept ISIL's undeclared declaration of war on us. We all know that it is there. It would make matters so much simpler. There have surely been enough anti/West/Britain statements to make matters plain?

Just imagine spending ages debating what we could do to defend ourselves against Nazi Germany and if it were the right thing to do to hurt anybody in the struggle. I don't think there was much debate about the need to kill those who were ready to kill us either. So, it is debateable if we would have won WW11 if we had got off to such a slow response.

ok thought about it....a job well done...you wouldnt be so keen to spend time thinking about it if theyd killed a member of your family over here would you...

thats half the trouble in this damn country we spend too much time thinking and mulling ...meanwhile these scum go from strength to strength...

remember that scene in the Pink Panther film, Clousseau is to busy worrying about the legality of the organ grinder and his monkey "city ordnance blah bla says"..meanwhile in the background behind hime theres an armed robbery going on....

take these scum out before they get a chance to hurt us in any way or form..

Precisely. No declation, no state of war.
Andy-Hughes is right. This isn't about "taking this cum out". There are few who wouldn't want them gone.
This is about HOW this was carried out. It broke British democratic and constitutional laws. Attacks in Syria were ruled out and yet, here is a British attack on Syrian soil.
Tomorrow Dave will just close the links between the government pension pot and all banks. That'll be okay though won't it. Doesn't need permission.
It's oft quoted but worth quoting again.
