Sunday. A scouting party for the rain army has visited and sussed out where to attack later. Probably just as we get to the canal later.

Therefore I shall be away about 7.30, got to pick my mate up from Thornbury first.

Tiggy got home about an hour ago, I'm almost sure he had a smile on his clock. :o}

Morning. I thought it would be a good idea to have a decent night's sleep before having to spend today working. Yeah, that didn't work. Ah well, Still have to do the work!

Been an up-and-down week so far but the highlight was surely meeting Paul Sinha (off The Chase) on Wednesday evening, and then quizzing with him and a few other people for quite a while and indeed into the small hours of Thursday. Great fun. I even got a few answers ahead of him, which was nice.

Just been packing up painting gear, what a fun 2 days it's been.

I wish Boaty. It's my youngest sons major work for Design and Technology. He has made a bed with 6 sets of drawers under it. It's cost me nearly $600 in materials. He has done a great job, I've done the spray painting for him. He is allowed to contract out with some aspects of his project and I was the cheapest he could find, lol..

Sunday morning sleep in for the masses?

I've just stuck lamb shanks in a curry sauce into the oven to slow roast, nice and tender in a few hours, fingers crossed.

That sounds nice. I have a red wine and redcurrent jelly recipe for lamb shanks. I like the idea of the curry though.

Morning all - looks grey down here, not raining - yet.......Off up to Okehampton for a Waitrose raid and then back to base...how these three days have flown by.

Awful night's sleep and now I have cramp in my left lower shin!
