It's only been on 5 minutes and I'm already in tears.
It was so moving to watch this programme. Many years ago when I was a teenager I went to Czechoslovakia and we visited Lidice a small village that was raised to the ground by the occupying German army because of an act of resistance that had taken place. They even moved the local river so that the place would be "lost" to the rest of the world. Why is it that people do not believe that the holocaust happened. How can they be so blind. Yet still we hear of atrocities happening all over the world. Why can we not live in peace with each other. What does it take?
