Did anyone watch the programme Splash tonight? If so, what did you think of it? I am a big admirer of Tom Daley., but unfortunately i only caught the end of the programme.

Hmm...They had to wring its neck to make it interesting IMO
I enjoyed it, the big plus for me was Vernon in his shorts.....lush! ;)
Only saw the end. They didn't half spin out the results part. 10 minutes when 2 would have been long enough.
damn i forgot about that, saw it in the listing and thought it was the darryl hannah movie !

I missed most of the actual diving. Would to have liked to have seen Helens contribution!
Why on earth did they have Jo Brand as a judge???
Jo Brand is a better than average swimmer....no idea what she's like in the diving pool though.....

Absolute trash! Switched off after 20mins. Trying to make a go of it on the back of Tom Daly's olympic success. A full hour programme devoted to 5 D list celebs diving into a pool once. AWFUL
Agree with jd. Too much messing about
Was this one of the programmes Alan Partridge pitched.
Judging by the feedback on this thread I'm glad I didn't bother to watch it.
I recorded it & fast forwarded a lot I watched the training, "live" dives & judges comment & scoring. I quite enjoyed it, but agree that a lot was dragged out.
yawn! ! shant watch again
Lots of faff. I watched part of it then put it on record so I can skip through and watch the actual diving and judging.

I like the idea, nicely different but just too much padding.
What next? Celebrity cycling with Bradley Wiggins? Celebrity space walk with Richard Branson? Celebrity Bricklaying with Barrett Homes?
I also like Tom Daley, but I did not class this as good Saturday night entertainment. Why was it necessary for the female contestants to have make up plastered on them as if they were going on a night out. Ridiculous, doubt I will watch it next week.
Load of rubbish, shan't be watching again. It seems ITV are clutching at anything to make a new reality show.
Cannot bear watching anything with Gabby Logan on. Tried for a few minutes, saw that she had no chemistry whatsoever with co-host Vernon Kay and she was desperately chumming up to the celeb contestants and trying to turn the third judge into a Mr Nasty. Yukkkk, and so predictable.
