When shopping for my NYE cheese and wine fest, I only went and bought a tasteless unsalted butter!

Have you committed an act of sheer idiocy lately?

How could You :-) I bought a light Lurpak the other day:-(
why do you need butter.....yeuck; enjoy the cheese for what it offers.
Can't do without my salted butter DT
ok on other things - lovely artisan fresh bread and the cheese suffices for me - and of course the wine....
The last daft thing I did was to put the plates in the fridge to warm.

They used to think I was odd in Spain asking for "Mantequilla".

I just can't eat dry food, DT.

On the silly-scale, Tilly, that is insurpassable... ;)
I got home from shopping and found I'd bought three large packs of light cheddar. :(
I poured a bottle of beer into a ashtray rather than a glass the other night. :-(
Sick of buying Lurpack Light by mistake.... I need butter even with cheese.

I eat lots of Whitworths dates. Their flipping prunes are in similar packaging. Jolly good offer last week, 3 for 2. I now have six packets of sodding prunes.
Steep them in rum, gness
Nungate asked me to look for sugar, I found a box and it smelt like sugar and she said taste some....was salt! Last time I put my trust in her
I'll do that Sib. x
Gness, I think I insulted you on QoM's thread :-(
Yesterday - I started by dropping a scarf running from the car across to the café in teeming rain. Someone retrieved that and the owner hung it in the kitchen to dry....forgot that.

Driving past later with my mother, I remembered it and went into retrieve it, they are closing for a week's holiday. Off to the pub.

After lunch, thought I put it on and we went over to see a distant cousin to give her a small Xmas pressie. Didn't stay long and back here and I've lost it again. Could I find her tel number.

Eventually I drove back the 6 miles and she didn't have it, the pub didn't either (called them). Bamboozled by this, I got back here, took off my jacket and then my sweater - it was buried beneath that.

D97, I've just laughed so much at that. I have, in the past, flicked my ash into my glass of wine. Lol!
Now that's a real senior moment
Question Author

Not you, NoM, DT
Worrisome! x
