Its after midnight after the Queen officially opens the games I think. Nobody will know till they carry the flame in the organisers say (the one carrying it only knew yesterday apparently)

In her Jubilee year I'd have expected ER to be considered but I'm not sure that it shouldn't be sport related. I'd probably pick Daley Thomson as he was the only Brit that got me really excited about an Olympic event.
