I've enjoyed Walliams on BGT, for the most part, and I think he was popular with the viewers. But I wonder what Simon Cowell really thought of the constant gay jibes and insinuations from him, and whether that'll mean he won't return next year. What do you think?

Flip, Mr Cowell controls everything that happens on that show and I would say that 95% is scripted or at least agreed beforehand.

I think it was only taken as a bit of fun by him .............. having David on the panel of judges was a very popular decision as it drew in more viewers!

Totally agree with you elvis, seems very strange and weird coming from a married man. I get so sick on the gay innuendoes I can't watch him in anything.

I think he did it purely because Simon warned him not to! Hope he comes back next year, he was hilarious!

I love him, and I thought he was fantastic on BGT. He certainly made me laugh and I think Simon Cowell took it as the joke it was. I hope he is back next year too. :)

I love David Walliams. He always seems very warm and human. Unlike Cowell who's just pure ego as far as I can see.

I also think he's both hilarious and quite genuine. He's a bit like a naughty schoolboy who-when told not to do something-does it even more.
