It's called One Good Reason and it was done by a bunch of session musicians just for Neighbours. In fact, for ages there wasn't even a full song, just one verse and a chorus. I think it's available on the Neighbours soundtrack CD that came out a while back, though for myself, if I never hear it again, it'll be too soon.

That is correct. The song is called "One Good Reason" and was written by local Melbournian singer/songwriter Michael Kelly especially for Neighbours. Ex Taxiride member Tim Watson provided vocals.

I don't know what jenstar meant about it not being a full song. We've always used the full song. Mike originally wrote the chorus will jamming on his veranda one day. 11 years later, Neighbours Music Director Chris Pettifer asked him to write some verses for it as he wanted to use it on Neighbours.
