Agree with Ric.ror. Without the TV series re the cruise she would still be singing on cruise liners and in clubs. Don't actually like her personality either.

Actually she does still sing on cruise liners.............she was on P&O's Oriana a couple of Xmas' ago..................

Lottie she was excellent................and also much smaller and slimmer in real life than she looks on TV. Her singing was quite good but she was also very funny.

If I was on a cruise-ship, I'd much prefer the 'pub-singer' Jayne McDonald rather than the former Principal soprano Lesley Garrett....

If you're thinking of going on a cruise ship for the quality of the cabaret acts forget it...............Jane MacDonald is the best you'll get.

I think la Garrett confuses "fun" with 'let's talk about me and I'll throw in the odd 'trill' for my own amusement.......".

Totally agree with you all about that awful Lesley Garrett. I can't stand her and hated watching her on Loose Women. Can't stand her voice when she talks, and talks and talks.....about herself mostly, in between showing off with her trilling-I'm-an-opera-singer-you-know and my husband's a surgeon, in case you didn't know.......

I actually liked Jane McDonald on Loose Women!
