PS: I didn't get out of bed (or, more accurately, off the settee where I kipped last night) until 3.25pm, so it's still early for me!

You get used to it Bobbi. I've always had trouble sleeping. Was a nightmare when I was working but now I don't have to get up at a certain time I just sleep later.

I've always been nocturnal. Even as a teenager I'd never go to bed until well into the early hours on school days. During the holidays I'd often stay up all night and then sleep through the morning. At college, and during my first few years of teaching, I'd just grab a few hours sleep on every third night (remaining awake for several days at a time). However, senility now beckons and I need a lot more sleep but still, by preference, during the day!
