On 19th January I signed an agreement for a fitted Kitchen for £11,000. This was on an interest free loan. Today 18th February I recieved a letter stating that I must have insurance. The balance is now £12,287 . The kitchen is not due to be fitted until March. Can I cancel the agreement ? At no time was I informed of the extra charges.

I don't believe you can cancel, please read the small print in the contract that you have signed, you should have a cooling off period which could be 14 day's. But I also believe that the company is in breach of it's contract, if they have added this extra £1287.00 to the contract, also far as i know it is up to you if you want insurance Go to the citizen advice office for further advice.
