Whatever you do, DO NOT CLICK ON THE UNSUBSCRIBE LINK. This only confirms your email address is genuine and you will receive more spam.
mark it as spam
Question Author
bloody hell I never knew that, I have been marking it as SPAM but was still getting it!!
Have you been clicking on "unsubscribe me"?
Question Author
yes I have
Oops! You will get more and more of this stuff. When it becomes too large to handle, you will need to get a new email address.
Question Author
oh hell, well now I know ;-(
You should try Googlemail Bobbi, it's a much better system iin my opinion. Once you delete it as spam it blocks that sender from sending any more... do you use hotmail?
Question Author
I may do a full system resore to factory setting, I am have lots of niggling problems with this at the minute
Including caps lock sis? ;o)
Question Author
that is me shouting
arghhhhhhhhhhh"""
I'm sorry but I think it's horses for courses, you can't say the same things for all unexpected emails. Anything in my spam box just gets deleted, zap, no looking, don't tell 'em you're a real person. Marketing stuff from people where I know (sort of) how they came by my address, gets unsubscribed. Phishing stuff (especially from banks where I don't have an account) gets forwarded straight to that bank's phishing email address.
Question Author
I have a separate phishing for my bank, courtesy of HSBC, I think all banks do this now
Bobbi just send me your full name and bank account details, credit cards etc and I'll track these spamming bounders down and have them thrown in jail.
yes I think they do bobbi, I have about twelve addresses in my address box for phishing stuff, including the tax man who keeps saying he owes me £380 but I have to give him my bank details first....
Question Author
Even my c disc needs scanning now...I might throw this thing at the dog,,,lol or Bill, it's on its way McM...lol
"Phishing stuff (especially from banks where I don't have an account) gets forwarded straight to that bank's phishing email address. "

With all due respect, that makes you as bad as the spammer. Just delete it. Nobody will look at this stuff when you forward it on.
Hmmm SB - the banks always say thank you and that they are looking into it, we take this stuff seriously, etc...?
I think you will find that's an automatic email before your spam gets deleted.
Fair dos SB, if it's doesn't do any good then I will save myself an email.
