We're having, braising steak, thats been cooking slowly all afternoon, mash, carrots sping cabbage, real gravy and a couple of yorkshire puds, perfect tea on a rainy day, what you having? x

Gon on then, made all that now my son tells me he's going out, he'll says he'll have it later but i know it'll still be in the fridge in 2 days time so you can have his!!!

Not sure yet, the present Mrs Hughes is confined to bed with a cold, so we fall back on my culinary skills, which are lacking to say the least!

In vierw of the rain, I quite fancy bacon, mash, peas and onion sauce - for Mrs H. and youngest-born, I dont eat onion sauce, but will happily make it for them.

we're having grilled pok chops, when they are cooked I top them with a layer of apple sauce, fried red onions and bung stilton on the top and pop them back under the grill for a few minutes, lovely. with diced potatoes roasted in garlic, olive oil and herbs + salad and crusty bread..Oh and a large glass of red wine.

Going round to Lil's straight from work... so it could be anything from burnt fishfingers on toast, to M&S spagetti bolognaise, to f@rty egg salad. Whatever it is, it will be accompanied by copious amounts of wine....
