Everybody's entitled to an opinion, "the ultimate insult" might be taking things a tad far given the dodgy history of military and political choices down the years.
I note they're only threatening to return medals at the mo so incandescence has yet to be reached, this could run for a while yet selling bajillions of newspapers, which in the end is what it's about for The Mail.
It's also a handy diversion for the current mob of inadequates in power.

I understand these women feel the way they do they are wrong.
He isn’t a war criminal: that is plain nonsense.
And I didn’t agree with the war against Iraq but it wasn’t “illegal”. There are no legal or illegal wars, just wars. The war v Iraq was a cakewalk for the allies. What went disastrously wrong was what happened after
