Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. All serene outside, a wee bit cool, but dry so far.
I cleaned the inside of the car yesterday, I think it's traumatised! Probably won't start today. :o}
On the canal in the Visitor Centre to day, I hope the weather is kind to us! When I take my mate home afterwards I'm staying to dinner. His wife is a very good cook, so I'm looking forward to that.

Morning boaty xxx and a Happy Easter to you .....

We're having a very pleasant relaxing weekend, basically going nowhere ....I'm not keen driving over Easter unless we go before it starts and come back long after the main event. We often go to Melbourne to our daughters but they're in NZ with Nels family for a week or so, so we will go later in the year.

I try to avoid any big journeys over holiday periods, I have a bit of driving today though. I have to go to Thornbury to pick up my mate, and obviously, to take him home again. A sixty three mile round trip, which is next door by your standards. He can't drive because of failing eyesight, if I didn't he wouldn't be able to do something he loves doing.

After numerous deliveries of incorrect parts our mower finally worked again.
Grass was almost 2ft high and thick.
It had a good workout.

Morning all, quite a nice morning here....just getting the shotgun out to greet all the Easter bunnies that come running through the garden.

Happy Easter to you too boaty xx..got shed done ...hooray !! messy job and difficult to get in to do some bits , have a paint store shed at the back of it which needed to be emptied and moved....but done now ! next job I hate is jet washing patio.....need a warm sunny day to help with drying, so will not be today, bit dull and very nippy here...will paint some wee metal birds I have around the garden today...hate Hammerite paint , but will not take long...
