... got a call from our Vet couple of hours ago, would we be interested in adopting a 3 year old Rottweiler Cross the present owner could no longer look after.
Crossed with what was the first question, but they didn't know.
So off we all go with Roger in the back of the car, no good if he doesn't approve.
He turned out to be about the size of a large Staffie, about 18-20 kilos and a proper Rottie head on him, nice looking Dog.
We liked him, he and Roger got along well. and he comes home tomorrow.
Happy days ;o)

Good for you Baldric glad that Roger approved. One lucky dog gets a new home.
well done Baldric and enjoy the jolly Pirate coming your way!
What an excellent present for Christmas. I'm glad that Roger likes him - a brother to play with.

:-D

I hope it works out. Good luck.
Good result all round :))
How lovely for you all Baldric.
Our Christmas will arrive a little late as our new pup was born at the beginning of last week, we'll pick him and bring him home at the end of January. Can't wait to have a dog in our lives again, it's been sixteen years.
Good result, well done to all :-)

He seems to have a very similar personality to Roger, very easy going, we shall see.
Needs a bit of feeding up at the moment, bit skinny.
Will post a piccie tomorrow.
Super news for all - be great to see a picture tomorrow, has he a name?

He's been called Bruno for last 3 years so I think we'll stick with it.
Congratulations :-) and to ethandron xx
Bruno is good.
Well done Baldric for your kindness, hope the dog settles in well and enjoys a Happy Christmas and life with you.
Baldric, what a wonderful fella you are. I hope you have many, happy years with Roger and Bruno
We'll want a photo, please, Balders ;-)
Lovely.

I lived in a house share with a very charming female Rotitie, she was a lovely girl.....even if she did like like nibbling/slobbering over my feet!
So there is another side to you? I like that.
ahhh..that's nice Balders xx
Good on yer mate. Looking forward to seeing a photograph of Bruno.

Hans.

Including Bruno our last 3 Dogs have all been Rescues.
There are so many nice, genuine Dogs out there that just need a bit of love and care.
