///The nasty lying Mail gets its comeuppance.///
They did not make up this story,It was reported to them.
Question Author
so that's all right then
And no other newspaper, ever, has been sued!
Do you really believe that every newspaper should thoroughly investigate everything reported to them.If so you are very naive.
"so that's all right then "

no but it makes your post look rather pathetic now as do the other replys !
Canary is simply trying - and failing to make a left wing point score.

Still smarting over the annihilation of the labour party are we Canary?
Yet another Tweet, Tweet from Canary.

Time to put the cover over it's cage.
I am still waiting for the DM to explain and apologise for supporting the Fascists in the 1930's.
Instead of attacking people like Canary and I, why don't you all try engaging in debate ? Try playing the ball, not the man.
Does the Daily Mail lie? I am rather surprised!
Then try asking a straight question without extreme left wing spin.
Shoota...what did you think about the DM supporting the British Union of Fascists then ? Here is something that might help you to make up your mind ::

"Hurrah for the Blackshirts!

The DM praised Mosley for his "sound, commonsense, Conservative doctrine"
My response was in reply to this Mikey: "Instead of attacking people like Canary and I, why don't you all try engaging in debate ? Try playing the ball, not the man."
That is exactly what I am doing shoota, and the ball in question is the DM.

Again, do you think that the paper had it right in the 30's about Fascism !
I think history is there to be studied and if possible learnt from. But I am a little uncomfortable when we put people under the spotlight for their actions. There was a program on tv where the reporter went back to a village to find someone that had informed the German authorities of a Jew living near her. She could not remember this or denied doing it. But in truth if I lived in that time I really don't know what I would do or not do!
Canary, there are one or two Labour papers amongst this lot.

What liars they are! Shocking!

Your Tory bashing – with Mikey bringing up the rear – is becoming pathetic - but they won so as he would say, “Get used to it”.

Mikey, you are still waiting for a newspaper to apologise for supporting a legitimate political party 80-odd years ago? Truly mind-boggling!!
"Daily Mail Punished For Its Lies"

a statement of fact. whats to debate ?

mikey would prefer the site to be called Debatebank
"but they won so as he would say, “Get used to it”

and get over it !...looks like theyll be drinking huge quantities of bitter for some time yet
Canary...we can all tell when our opposer's are losing the argument....they resort to personal abuse !
Oh, come on, Mikey. Baz was just making a little joke. Lost the election … complaining …..bitter ….. Get it? Lighten up. :o)
