I didn't think it was acceptable to bring up the DM supporting the Fascists in the 1930's anymore, according to some bloke from The Guardian it's "blind prejudice to link what it published, for a brief period, in the 1930s to what it does today".

there you have it ..people like mikey see it as winning or losing...i suppose it boosts their own low self esteem if they think theyre winning.

Martin Wood, solicitor for Associated Newspapers, said it acknowledged that the claims made against Sir Roger in the magazine were untrue and it was happy to undertake not to repeat them. So why publish in the first place without checking the facts ?
