We are currently in a rented flat but will be soon moving to our own place. Our problem is that the rented flat has a damp problem and some our furniture has been affected. The things most affected are the leather sofa, the table and chairs and our chest of drawers. They have what I think may be 'damp spores' growing on them which I keep wiping off but it keeps coming back! Is there any way of getting rid of it completely or will we have to throw these things out? We don't want to transfer the problem to the new place. Thanks.
