Saturday. It's wet outside. Becoming the norm isn't it! I'll give the farmers market a miss today.

Nothing on the oracle so it's plan what to do for lunch. I'll think of something I haven't done for a while.

Morning WBM. Having a very early morning coffee as we both can’t sleep. Birds are chirping but have t looked out of the window yet. No pitter pattering of the wet stuff can be heard.
Lunch with mother and party at the village pub later.

i can get back to sleep no problem even after coffee.
sometimes i fall asleep on the sofa for an hour or so, its too early to up really. I hope the weather is going to be better than yesterday, which was foul.

Morning all.

Son re-scheduled his flight from Chennai but has had to go via Bahrain. The first leg flight was delayed by nearly an hour and with only 1.5 hours between the connecting flight we wondered if he'd make it. Fortunately that flight has also been delayed so looks like he's on it (phew!). Means we have an extra hour before setting off for Heathrow but heavier traffic. Ah well.

Many years since I was in Yorkshire zacs, A lovely county. I'm watching reruns of Last Of the Summer Wine. Some beautiful scenery.

In army days I had a WRAC girlfriend who came from Barnsley, Went home with her on leave a couple of times, she came with me to Hampshire where my parents were living then. I loved Yorkshire, she loved Hampshire. :o}

emmie it was foul here yesterday too, not looking any better today.

i did some much needed and pleasant retail therapy yesterday, but needed to as put on too much weight recently and very little fits me, even though i have a room full to bursting with clothes. I can't seem to shift the weight either, which is a pain.

emmie putting the weight on is easy, getting rid of it ain't!
Especially if one can't do a lot of exercise.

i potter about, but my feet hurt a lot, getting the scan done showed wear and tear, basically arthritis in both feet, which doesn't help at all.
