Couldn't sleep last night as my brain would not be still. I was thinking of everything that could go wrong. I managed to get most of the furniture out of the room for new floor man. He arrived, laid the floor and then I had to put it back again. (Well most of it) The rest has been taken away for good causes, well that's what they said.
When I visited Mic earlier I felt like telling him to shove over so I could have a little sleep.
Tomorrow the equipment that he needs is coming. Something else to worry about. They assure me it will arrive, but the best laid plans of mice and men...

So I'm full of bumps, scratches and bruisers, Every bone in my body aches and the muscles too. It will be worth it though, just don't let anything go wrong to stop him coming home on Friday.

I'm sure you just want everything to be perfect for mic and that's what's stressing you. It will all work out, I'm sure. X
c'mon Jez, you've got this far, it'll be different and difficult, but you've got this far
No wonder you are shattered, but you know it will be worth it.
Thinking of you, jeza - we too hope there will be nothing to prevent mic coming home.
Jeza get some rest, well done, love to you both
Keep your chin up Jeza, thinking of both,Brenda.

Thanks all. I'm now going to have a B&C and then bed. I should sleep tonight, as I said earlier I'm shattered.
A tiredness and exhaustion with a purpose Jeza, try to get a good night and I pray all goes to plan. ♥
I never like to talk about my personal life on here But just for once I will say to you please don't take Mics care all on your shoulders. I have been married three times and my second husband had a massive stroke, he was paralysed and after 17 weeks in hospital he came home. At first everything was ok but then things changed ( he was not the man I knew) he became very selfish and ran me ragged and there were times when I could have walked away, this lasted for 6 years. I gave up my job and everything, people warned me but I took no notice. Anyway Jeza all I am saying is make time for yourself, have time off, go shopping, see your friends, pamper yourself at least once a week. Best of luck to you both. x

Puss, I have fought like a mad woman to stop Mic going into a care home. I broke a promise to Mic when he went in to hospital I was not about to break another one. I realise I have taken on a heavy load. Mic is not the person he was either but I'm hoping that once home he will be less frustrated with what he can't do and happier with what he can.

Thanks for relaying your story I will remember it and try to heed your advice.

Please say hello to Doc from both me and Mic.
You seem to have a good care system in place, that's good. I also fought for my husband to come back home which he did, it's hard Jeza, I really wish you well. xx
Every thing will work out fine. Don't you go worrying yourself. It will all fit into place and when you look back you will see it was worth it because he will be right beside you. Get some rest/ hot soak and bed. Xx
I hope you had a good night's sleep Jeza and that all goes well for you today ready for the homecoming tomorrow.

Been following your story Jeza, you have done so well and worked so hard. May I wish you and your hubby all good wishes for when you are together again and he will be much happier at home. Good luck, take care.
Jeza I hope all goes well for Mic's return, I too have "been there done that", take each day at a time, nothing beats being together in your own home.
hugs Dee x
