im 15 month into a 18 month contract with orange through phones 4u and received a telephone call from a salesman from phones 4 u asking me if i wanted a free upgrade and a extented 18 month contract i was driving home from work at the time and wasnt paying much attention to what he was saying he was on the phone for around 20 minutes trying to persuade me to go ahead so to get him off the phone i said ok thinking that when i got my new phone and contract through the post i would take a look at it and if i didnt want it i would just send it back saying thanks but no thanks i decided i didnt want another 18 month contract and the phone wasnt much good either but when i phoned them to tell them i didnt want it phones 4 u said you have to have it now youve agreed on the phone and theres no cooling off period so basically im now stuck with another 18 month contract and a crap phone where do i stand in this situation

you should have just put the phone down on them - be as bloody pig ignorant as they are. is it with orange? did you ring orange or the compant? Try ringing orange 0 there is a cooling off period. Write all numbers down and time and date when you called them. Speak to orange because they will try and sort it out for you. The compant will lose their commission if you send the phone back. Tell orange you were bullied into it. If you get no joy then contact trading standards and citizens advice bureau and get info. THERE IS ALWAYS A COOLING OFF PERIOD.
