No, but do you mean the inflatable type, or the properly- built type in its own building?

No.

I live in a first-floor city centre flat.  When I couldn't sleep last night I was planning how to update my home.  I decided that I would extend into the flat next door and have a swimming pool.

I have no idea if this is actually possible, but it was a brilliant idea at silly o'clock this morning.

yes if I had the money for the ongoing maintenance

That's the dream eventually.  It wouldn't be massive but I would have a sauna and steam room and a jacuzzi too.

I would love one in my back yard!!!

No, they have a short honeymoon period.

Anyone remember this episode of grand designs:

If I could afford to buy a house with an indoor swimming pool, that would be lovely, but I wouldn't want an outdoor swimming pool like the one in the video.

I'd prefer to swim without the company of any form of wildlife.

Redhelen 16.33 ..You are spot on there with the maintenance .Most people dream of having a swimming pool , makes them feel so upmarket .But did not think of the upkeep of a pool .Been there Helen , got the T shirt.

Can't imagine how much the upkeep of a property like the one in the video would cost.

Would be quite happy with a hot-tub.

No way

And no hot tub either or Sauna.  I've no interest whatsoever

I've no interest in any of them.

Not on your nelly.

We could buy a house together Lottie. All that stuff leaves me cold. I think the only place I'd have one is a Mediterranean country. But not for me...for visitors or for when I'd sell.

My friend in Spain has one Pasta. That's worth while, especially this summer where they've rarely been out the house because of the heat.  She's now longing getting back to the UK after 20 years in Spain, but she can't sell her lovely house.  The housing market in Spain is in a bad way.
