I've just noticed that when someone leaves a message on my answering machine, the wee voice says "thank you for calling" AFTER the person has hung up...

Why?????

mine does too,and ive no idea why, unless it's to alert the person screening the calls (ie you and me) that it's now safe to pick up the phone!
