What about the job centre paying for it
If you become a student, then you are not eligible for JSA as you are not actively seeking employment.
Suggest you try for Student Grants.

Are you in Scotland?

I am in England.

I appreciate any help regarding this.
Albaqwerty you are incorrect about students not being entitled to JSA. There may be an availabilty doubt (not an actively seeking employment doubt) but the local Jobcentre would refer it for a decision and it may be allowed.

albaqwerty & THECORBYLOON -

But as a part time student - 15 hours a week, would I still be able to the diploma? The thing is i have already done a short course at a local training centre which was funded (unemployment programme), but they won't allow me to complete it as a diploma as I have gone beyond the required hours of the programme. They are asking me to pay up if for the diploma.

This is why I want to know if i can get any extra help with fees to complete diploma for a person who on JSA.
